Evolution Wrestling regrets to announce that they have agreed to the terms to releases of both Coleman Grey and Leigh Brookes from their contractual obligations. Coleman Grey fulfilled his last obligation to Evolution Wrestling, with his final match unfortunately tainted with a loss. Leigh Brookes has been absent from programming for several weeks, and has not returned in recent time.
We appreciate all of the hard work that Coleman and Leigh had exhibited during their tenures with Evolution Wrestling, and wish them the best of luck in any of their future endeavors.
Thatcher Rex arrived to Transgression with opposition, but ended up being the power player of the night by throwing out the fact he never invoked his rematch clause against former champion Michael Thunder! Plus, an unexpected debut…

With Crazy Kyd now Number One Contender to the New Age Championship, The Uprising is arguably the most powerful body within Evolution Wrestling. With this being recognized, Mike Powers has split up The Uprising and pit them in a Tag Team Main Event that is guaranteed to be pure gold. Crazy Kyd will team up with his opponent at Valentine’s Massacre, New Age Champion Jonny Briggs. Unified Onyx Champion Joey Jenova will team with Jacob Tolle. Can The Uprising survive this split-up?
Thatcher Rex, coming off of his loss to Crazy Kyd in Last Man Standing, is guaranteed to be in a foul mood. Who will he compete against, if he actually competes? More importantly, will he target Crazy Kyd for keeping him from the New Age Championship?
Also, Mike Powers is still on his search for a new General Manager. Last week he allowed Johnny Rotten to try out for the position via a Guest GM spot for the night, but the apparent mute was (gladly) denied the position and placed back in his position as Director of Security. Who will get the guest spot this week?
In a historic edition of Transgression, we saw one of the most brutal matches to ever be broadcasted on prime-time television between Crazy Kyd and Thatcher Rex. Only one man could be the last one standing. Sadly for Thatcher Rex, it was not him.

Transgression for January 24th is looking to be an interesting chapter in Evolution Wrestling history, loaded with two high-profile matches involving the reigning champions, as well as the heated rivalry between two men who have been fighting for their right to face the New Age Champion at Valentine’s Massacre.
- Both men coming off losses from last week’s Transgression, both Coleman Grey and Jacob Tolle hope to shake their loss and come out on top in the opening contest.
- New Age Champion Jonny Briggs will take on Joey Jenova in a Wrestling Exhibition match, which the rules are rumored to be similar to Greco-Roman style. Per Mike Powers, this match will be one of the most thought-provoking matches that Evolution Wrestling will ever present.
- Last week, a Number One Contender could still not be determined. Thatcher Rex and Crazy Kyd are determined to destroy each other, and Mike Powers is going to allow it. In the Main Event, Thatcher Rex and Crazy Kyd meet in the ring in a Last Man Standing match. There must be a winner…
- Mike Powers announced that he is in search for a General Manager to assist in Evolution Wrestling. He stated his search begins this week.
- Also, recently terminated Color Commentator Bobby Robertson has recently become under the employment of New Age Champion Jonny Briggs. Bobby Robertson has requested a block of time to speak, which he has been granted.
What else could happen? Hey, it’s Transgression, anything is possible!
